Bret's coworkers made this ship. All of the employees in his department dressed up as pirates. It was really fantastic!

We had FHE with Grandma on Monday night. The kids wore their costumes to show off.

Look at those 2 cute boys. We didn't buy these outfits together but when you both have a baby boy at the same time, and you have the same taste, you end up with two cute matching boys!

Bret is growing a beard for his Halloween costume. He is going to be a pirate. He is planning on shaving it off Halloween night because it is driving him crazy.

So, I know that it's not Halloween yet but we had our ward Halloween Party on Friday and Josh's party on Saturday that we dressed up for therefore we already have Halloween pics. As you can see, we decided on a theme of Fruits & Veggies. Caleb is the Jolly Green Giant, Coop is a pea pod, and I am grapes. (the second night I did grapes was better because instead of taping the balloons on, I strung them all together and then wrapped them around so they were thicker but I didn't get any pictures)

Whoa, a little scary if you ask me! Coop's not so sure either ;-)

Look how good I am sitting up! It was just all of a sudden that I started holding myself up and don't I look so cute!

I love my cousin Ashlyn! She always plays with me and makes me smile. She's great!

My First Birthday Gift

I just wanted to pass along my first birthday gift since I have no idea who it's from. I've apparently made a good impression on someone (checkout the address). :)

The Finale

As Mindy said, this is our last cake (so sad!). I really enjoyed the class and am looking forward to the next course that will deal with fondant! On a side note, I'd like to say that my right hand and forearm are super sore today. I have alot more respect for those teeny tiny ladies who decorate cakes, they must be ripped.

The Big Finale!

Cassi and I had a blast in our cake decorating class! Here is the final cake...and our hands are sooooooooo cramped! You would not believe how hard it is to squeeze out that frosting! For those of you who are sad that this is our last cake decorating blog...don't be! We plan on taking at least one more class in December. You will just have to wait with bated breath until then.:)

Cupcakes, anyone?

So, they look almost identical to Cassi's, but I was told to blog mine as well. Here you have the glorious cupcakes (quite a few days old).:)

Rock Climbers

The kids had some fun rock climbing today. Dex was rather excited when he got to the top!

Our new room!

After a week and a half of caulking, stripping, patching, and repairing the walls and trim in this small room, I was finally able to finish painting. It was the longest project ever since everytime I turned around, a new something or other needed to be fixed but it is now done and we love it!

Guess where we are?

I could hear Ashlyn and Emma playing so well together from the family room. They were quoting Dora and laughing...but something sounded a little different - almost like an echo. Upon further inspection....I found the two had crawled into the dryer and were having the time of their life. Oh, to be a kid again!:)

This week's Cake

Ok, so they are really cupcakes but aren't they cute? I was hesitant to do the clowns because I am not a fan, but I actually really like them. So fun!

Better Late than Never

We loved having all the family here for Garrett's baptism it was a wonderful show of love and support. We love you all. (yes I know it is now Oct and Garrett was baptized in Aug! But here we are now, and the pictures are still great)
